Swinging & Sliding

I already told you about the dead swing we had in the backyard. Well, I had been wanting to get Camden a babyswing forever, but just didn't have anything to hang it from. Finally, it occurred to me that I could hang it from the swing frame. Duh, right? Cam loves his new swing!

I also insisted (much to Brad's dismay) that we get him a slide for the backyard. We don't have any parks nearby and I want Camden to be able to play outside as much as the weather permits.
I think he likes the new slide, too!
He loves looking thru the windows, especially if somebody is on the other side looking at him!

He hasn't quite figured out the slide part, yet. He keeps trying to climb up the slide!
"You want me to do what?"
Getting a great big hug from Daddy.
Cam loves to for Brad to swing him around in circles. This kid has no fear!
Cam also loves to be upside down!

I think the new backyard toys are a great addition. We have been using them as much as possible!

Monkey Boy

We have had a dead swing in our back yard forever. We finally threw away the swing, but decided to save the frame. Camden got the idea (maybe with Daddy's help) to hang from the frame like a monkey!
That kid is STRONG!
He has NO fear!
He loves just hanging around!
He loves climbing...

He loves squatting...
He loves being CUTE!
"UP! UP! UP!" He loves saying "UP!"
He loves being up in the air!
He is my MONKEY boy!

Silly Kids

These are back from our visit with the Brunos at the first of the year. Cam had so much fun playing with Sara and Katie. This is in Susan's sewing room. Cam found a tunnel!

Here we were trying to get a group shot before we left. Cam was not cooperating.

Cam found some cones and of course, thought they were hats!

In Susan's craft closet - Cam thought he could squeeze thru from one side to the other - he got stuck!

We tried to put this big headband flower on Cam, but he wasn't having it!

The best group shot we got. Susan was taking the picture so she didn't get to be in it. Cam refused to sit in the chair for the photo. He was too busy eating popcorn!
We had so much fun and can't wait to visit with the Brunos again!

My Adorable Valentines

Cam's got his holidays mixed up! We found this adorable St. Paddy's day hat at (where else?) the $spot in Target and he loves it! He wears it all the time! Cam really has a thing for pencils. He was also stealing my automatic pencils while I was trying to do my daily crossword, so when I saw these cute V Day pencils in the $spot I snatched them up. Cam now has more pencils (unsharpened) than he can shake a stick at! Ha!

This is just a cute pic of Cam on his Elmo airplane. Yes, that is apparently the new home for our vacuum cleaner. No, I do not vacuum. Ever. Yes, Brad did use it recently to vacuum up an entire bag of rice that I may or may not have spilled when I melted the bag on a hot stove eye. It definitely would have been easier to sweep up the rice, but our dustpan is missing in action. Or inaction, as the case may be. Oh dear, I'm not sounding like a very good housekeeper, am I?
Hopefully the following cute pics of the Cam man will distract you from my woeful housekeeping. Cam opening his presents: He got stickers! Stickers are his new passion. We have sticker parties all the time. In fact, I have a permanent Elmo sticker on my yoga pants. It's very motivating!

Look at the adorable shirt I made him! Yes, I MADE it!!

Does it get any cuter than this? I think not!

"Hey Lady! What's with the CRAZY EYES?!" (You got nothing on me, Katie!)
Um, so I'm gonna go with I was trying to make Cam smile for the picture. Fail.

Then I tried tickling him. Success!

More tickling. More cuteness. Couldn't you just die from the cuteness?

I had a romantic dinner out with my 3 Valentines: My Dad, My Husband, & My Son!
We went to our usual Sunday night spot, Ol El Meca. Cam loves the fancy waterfall!
Hmm... I just realized Cam looks a little drunk in this pic.

At the end of the evening I realized that I didn't get a picture of my sweetheart, so we did a self-portrait. I love how I wore red for Valentine's Day and he wore green so we look very Christmas-y. Why don't men know to color coordinate for holidays?

It was a wonderful day with my 3 special guys!
