Puddles!

Camden discovered puddles. I guess it was only a matter of time, but I had no idea how fun it would be! This is a video of him playing in his very first puddle! It was in the parking lot of Rosie's - that's why he has balloons.
The next day we went in search of puddles in our neighborhood. This is a small puddle across the street.
Just to be clear, this lush, beautiful green grass is NOT my yard. My yard is lovely shade of brown and filled with dandelions and clover.
See the cozy coupe car across that street? That's our yard. Gorgeous, right?

Camden's hair is soaking wet because he was doing headstands in a bigger puddle down the street. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera handy for that puddle, but trust me when I tell you it was hilarious!
Jumping in puddles takes a lot of concentration!
I finally went & got my camera so I could film a video. This was after he had played in the puddle for quite a while, so he was kind of winding down. He does do a headstand right at the beginning. Sorry it's sideways.
Earlier he had a bib on and it kept floating in his face when he would lean down so he ripped it off. I'm embarrassed to say he did "taste" the puddle. Yuck. I figure a little dirt won't hurt him, though. It's good for the immune system, right?
This is my favorite thing this week so I'm linking up to Hillary's Friday Favorites.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. My youngest (numero 4) is my first boy and is so insanely different from my girls. A climber. A plugger. An intoeverythingkid. And yesterday {and the day before come to thank of it} swam in puddles. Puddles are way fun and I HAS to be good for their immune systems:) What a cute blog--did you design it yourself?

I loved the video! That is nothing but pure joy. Kinda make me want to run and splash too! (If I didn't have to do the laundry after.)

Too precious! He has a great splash style! Thanks for sharing. Believe it or not, it actually makes me look forward to our DLG (Daddy's Little Girl) discovering puddles-- likely very soon with big brother's help. (Thanks for visiting my blog, too.)

ADORABLE! I love that little man; what a cutie! Yes- puddles will be cool for quite some time. Just invest in some good cleaner and learn to love it like you already do! Super cute!!
