Huntsville Havoc Hockey

On Thanksgiving night, we all went to a hockey game to see the Huntsville Havoc play. It was Camden's first hockey game and he loved it!
I forgot my camera, but Dad had his. Unfortunately he didn't make it in any of the pictures. Oops!
Camden wanted to Go!Go!Go! I was constantly catching him & bringing him back.
I also walked with him a lot.
He was very interested in the railing. He would have jumped thru there if I'd let him!
The Havoc have 2 mascots: Chaos & Rukus. Camden was fascinated with them! At one point he took off walking towards the next section. I didn't know what he was up to until I realized that both the mascots were sitting on the stairs the next section over. Camden walked right up to them & reached out to pet Chaos. I'm wondering if he thought they were Elmo since they were red & furry! He was not shy at all & waved to them both a bunch & kept saying "bye, bye!" (He still hasn't learned to say "Hi" while waving.) It was so cute!
More pictures of me holding/carrying Camden back to safety.
The middle of this video is really cute. I tried to edit out the dull stuff but didn't have any luck.
So that was our fun Thanksgiving outing. I will post the rest of our Thanksgiving pictures later.

Our Morning Routine

Today we tried breakfast at the table. Camden thought it was fun to shove as many banana bites in his mouth at once as possible. I bet you can guess what happened right after I took this picture!
"Oh, it's fun to drop bananas into empty crock pots that Mommy foolishly left on the table."
"It's even more fun to jump up & down in this chair and give Mommy a heart attack!"
"Okay, breakfast is all done. Let's brush our teeth!"
"Not only do I love to brush my teeth, I also love to carry around my toothbrushes (both of them), my toothpaste, my comb & my hairbrush!"
"What? I'm just sitting here being as cute as possible!"
"Oh, you mean you still haven't found the shoe I hid days ago? You say you already looked in every trash can in the house? Well, I'm not giving you any hints, but maybe I hid it when I shut myself in my bathroom."
"It's about time you found that shoe, Mommy! Now I can go hide it again!"
"Oh wait, I think I would rather steal your shoes & hide them!"
"Yup, I'm taking off with them. Good luck trying to find them!"
"Bu-bye! Catch me if you can!"

Driving a Tractor

More pictures from Tate Farms! I had to post these pictures of him on the big ol' John Deere Tractor! He loved pretending to drive!
He also loved jumping up and down on Daddy's lap!

Guess Who Loves Sonic?

Camden just learned to drink with a straw last week. On Sunday we stopped by Sonic on the way home from running errands. I got a vanilla milkshake.
We offered it to Camden to see if he would like it.
"Okay, now how does this straw thing work again?"
"Oh Yeah, I remember now!"
"MMMMM, Tastes so good!"
And just like that, we have a new Sonic addict in the family!
Camden drank my whole milkshake!

Target Adventure

Friday was a big day for Camden! He got to get out of the buggy & walk around in Target! I think I was more excited than he was. He quickly made his escape. We were in the very back corner of the store and I had was looking at water bottles and Brad walked two aisles over. I thought Camden went with Brad. Next thing I hear is a Target employee talking to Camden, saying "Oh you made your getaway, huh, little buddy?" Oops, we'd better keep a closer eye on Cam!
Next we let him out at checkout, so I could get the requisite pictures. Cam turned away from the direction we were heading and made a beeline for this Target employee!
He toddled right up to her and gave her a big hug! Do you think we are spending too much time in Target, since Camden thinks the employees are our friends & family?
They both enjoyed the hug.
And then he was off again, this time towards the exit with Mommy & Daddy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is what I woke up to Saturday morning.
A ghetto clad Camden jumping up & down on my bed!
I had picked up some doo-rags at the Dollar Store for our 40s party, and Brad thought it would be fun to dress Cam up.
Then I had a little fun with picnik:
Ha! Ha! My little gangsta!
A Love/Hate Relationship with Elmo
You may remember this picture from Camden's 1st birthday party.
Camden loves to watch Elmo on Sesame Street, but he is so scared of this Elmo doll! I think it's because it moves & talks.
Here is watching Sesame Street intently.
We have been working on getting Camden to like the Elmo doll. He likes it when Elmo says Hi, but then we have to turn it off before he says anything.
Okay, yes, we did torture the kid a little bit. But he is so cute, even when he cries!
The Cuteness in Stripes
Yesterday morning I was on a self-imposed quarantine because I thought I had picked up a bug. Brad stayed home to take care of me & Camden. Since we didn't want to get Camden sick, I hid out in the spare bedroom. I asked Brad to send me a picture on my phone so I could see the cuteness.
This is what he sent me. Who is this big boy? I don't even recognize him! He looks so grown up! I have to add, Brad picked out this adorable sweater long-all from Old Navy & dressed him up in it. So adorable!
Here they are in the playroom. Camden is exploring his new "tent."
Apparently someone else was enjoying the tent more than Camden - Jasper!
That dinosaur is eating my baby!
"I'm outta here! You people bore me. I'm taking my sippy cup & my monkey & leaving!"
After I figured out I'd had a bad reaction to some medicine, and didn't have a bug after all, we headed down to DbD. I found this little American flag laying around & thought it went perfectly with Cam's outfit. He waved it around like a pro.
I cannot get over how STINKIN' CUTE Cam is walking (marching) around. Expect to see lots of these videos.
Look Who's Walking!
Here's some pictures of the Cuteness.
Yes, he's really walking now! I couldn't get any good videos inside because I was always too close to him. So I took Camden out into the front yard and was finally able to get some good video. He still crawls, too, but he walks more and more everyday. He's about 50/50 right now.
Elephants & Alabama Football!
We are Alabama Fans! Roll Tide! In case you didn't know it, Alabama's mascot is Big Al, an elephant. So when I found this little elephant hat and tail at Michael's recently, I knew we had to have it! Camden had so much fun wearing it, and then making me wear the hat! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!
Camden Hearts Maddie
This is Camden watching Sesame Street. Riveted. It is extremely hard to get Cam's attention when he is watching Sesame Street.
Until I clicked on this video of  Maddie making her noise on my phone.  It completely caught Cam's attention! He was mesmerized by Maddie!
Then he had to show off his noise making skills. He learned how to make an Indian noise while patting his mouth. I finally figured out he was imitating my yawning noises when I read his Hey! Wake Up! book. I wish I had this on video, but it is getting harder and harder to capture Cam Cam in pictures or video.
Thank you, Heather, for sharing this sweet memory of your beautiful daughter. I know Binky will treasure these pictures and videos of her big sister. I wish we had this kind of treasury to teach Camden about his big sister, Carsyn.
