Memorial Day Weekend Recap

These are from Memorial Day weekend. I thought I had posted them already!

Camden has been making lots of friends at the baby pool. This is Madison.

We got Cam some floaties this year. He loves the water & his floaties!

He is so proud that he can float around like this! He does it in the big pool, too!

Big Lobo & The Littlest Lobo

Brad's dad's nickname is Big Lobo. Brad is Little Lobo. That's how Camden came to be known as the Littlest Lobo. Here's Big Lobo with Camden.

Happy Birthday, Brad!

Happy Belated Birthday, Brad! I know it was 2 months ago today, but I'm a little slow. Better late than never!

Brad's mom, Grammy Cathy, came down to visit with us for Brad's birthday. While she was here we decided we needed to celebrate at the beach!

We started celebrating the night before Brad's birthday, so on his actual birthday he was a little pooped.

Camden was not interested in letting Daddy take a Birthday nap.

These are the day we got back from the beach & decide to celebrate one last time! Dad's presents to Brad included a really nice Boston Red Sox hat & gym shorts.

That was the best birthday ever! Thanks for letting us twist your arm into going to the beach! Here's to another wonderful year!

So You Wanna Be a Cowboy, Baby

You may have noticed that Camden has an ever growing hat collection. So when I saw a cowboy hat at Walmart the other day, I couldn't resist. You may have also noticed that more often than not, Camden recruits his elders to wear the hats.

Here for your enjoyment, is Brad wearing the cowboy hat, and the flashy new shades.

This was the closest I got to actually getting a picture of Camden in the cowboy hat. Maybe next time.

I did get a video of Camden wearing the hat & sunglasses. Halfway through I turned on the light so you can actually see him.

Escape Artist

Updated: I realized my pictures were too big & were cutting off Camden's face! I resized the pictures so you can see his expressions!

Camden has a new trick. We have recently begun putting him in timeout when he is bad. His timeout is in his pack 'n play that he takes naps in. Apparently Brad put him in timeout the other day, and not 2 seconds later Camden reappeared at Brad's side. It seems he figured out how to crawl out of the pack 'n play using the diaper changer.

The other day I caught him in the act. He was already laying on the diaper changing when I went in the play room with my camera.

Pretty neat trick for a 22 month old. My heavens, we are still 2 months away from the terrible twos! I can only imagine what that will bring!

Grammy Cathy

Brad's mom came to visit us back in April. She lives in Kansas and we only see her about twice a year. This was the first time she had seen Camden since last summer, in June '09. She was worried that Camden wouldn't remember her, but I assured it that wouldn't be a problem, and I was right!
