Broadway Bash & Harry Connick Jr.

I took Dad to see Harry Connick, Jr. for his birthday (Dad's, not HCJ). I joined the fan club to improve our seating and we ended up in the second row! Not the regular second row, but the line-chairs-in-front-of-the-stage second row! We were 5 feet from the stage! Harry was amazing and highly entertaining, as usual. We both thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Love that Harry!

Dad has much better photos, so I'll come back and post them when I get them.

Back in January, Dad & I went to the Broadway Bash. It was a concert with Patti Lupone & Mandy Pitinkin, and then a big NY Street Fair in the East Hall afterwards. We enjoyed the concert, but the fair afterwards was really fun, too! They had all kinds of "street vendors" set up like hot pretzel makers and brick oven pizzas. The food was yummy! They had lots of other stuff too, like artists and entertainers. It was a really cool concept.

On the way to the after party.

Melanie & Jeff. Jeff has been "our" bartender for years and we ran into him there.

Don't we make a great looking Hollywood couple?

While we both really enjoyed the Broadway Bash evening, we both agreed that Harry Connick, Jr. was far superior! I even got to meet him and get his autograph after the concert!
